Where Are We? - January 2026

Writing

The first month of 2026 is down and I have a week left of creative edits before HT2 is passed on for copyediting. I’ll be off work for a week to facilitate the last push and compiling the extras that need to go over. Once that’s done, I’ll be able to focus on the next story and commence the three year cycle for HT3.

The cover art is almost ready to reveal so when I get that polished in the coming weeks, I’ll share it with you and (finally!) announce the title and release date.

There’s a few people I know that have unexpectedly started or finished Blood Reign and loved it so I’m equal parts excited and terrified to present the follow-up!***

Life

Tried my hand at Arknights: Endfield this month and received my first experience of a factory simulator. Mining natural resources to build a base that efficiently produces products is not something I thought I’d enjoy, but here we are!

I’m still working on the next chibi (or more accurately, making the time to complete it) but in the meantime, enjoy this unreleased concept art from Mira.Sand for one of the main protagonists of the second story, Aela Knight. Trust that my rendition will not threaten her career.
