In less than 4 weeks, God Scorn will be released and you’ll find out exactly how vicious these three characters are.

Honestly, this illustration represents one of my favourite parts of the process. Whenever I release a full novel, I’ll commission two full illustrations: the cover art and the ‘key’ art. For me, the cover art of a novel should be a teaser; a means to give you a glimpse into what the story is about. The key art, this one here, allows you to recall the whole thing once you finish the story.

And it looks cool on my wall.

Putting a face to the names in these stories never gets old and working with artists to do so is always a treat.

For next month, several ARC readers will be dropping their comments on Blood Reign, and the God Scorn book launch party is locked in for 26th September. In the following months (where finances allow; this shit ain’t cheap), I’ll be roaming Instagram for a few artists to commission for characters from God Scorn. Maybe I’ll compile an art book once the series is finished…

But for now, enjoy this piece of Teysa, the Maiden, and Aela and I hope you all enjoy the second Hateful Tale :)
