Where Are We? - May 2025

Writing

This month, the challenge was to revise Part 2 of the second novel and that's exactly what happened. Even managed to complete a little extra so in the interest of momentum, the challenge for June will be to revise Part 3. Doable with focus. I'm actually getting excited to see this progress towards completion. If I were to revise a part a month, that'd have me on track to get it to beta readers in September.

And so begins the challenge.

Life

The gaming PC is serving me well and I've treated myself to Xbox Game Pass to get through a few titles I've had my eye on. After hunting everything in Monster Hunter Wilds, next on the list of these is Doom: The Dark Ages so I've been dipping in to complete levels between revising chapters.

I've booked a bit of a spontaneous holiday to Asia so I'll have that to plan for and look forward to! (The Switch 2 will have to wait) I'll have to remember to bring a book for the plane as I've been slacking on my reading... There's already a few in the Goodreads TBR but I'm open to suggestions.
